Repair: Shopper

One of our recent repair projects came from a customer who had cherished his Shopper for many years and didn’t want to let it go. Instead of replacing it, he chose to restore it — and we were honored to be trusted with the work.

The bag had aged beautifully but showed a bit of heavy wear, especially on the bottom corners. We carefully mended all four corners, replaced the worn leather parts, and gave the entire bag a deep cleaning followed by a fresh rewaxing. Our goal was not to erase its history, but to strengthen it so it could continue its journey for many more years. Projects like this remind us why repair is so meaningful. A well-loved item carries memories, and restoring it is about preserving those stories while giving the piece renewed life. Seeing the shopper ready to be used again was incredibly rewarding for us — and we hope it will continue to age gracefully alongside its owner.
